Crystal Palace attacker slight injury doubt for West Ham clash – with key midfielder ruled out
Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Ismaila Sarrr is a doubt for Crystal Palace’s Premier League clash at West Ham.
The Austrian boss said Sarr is feeling a tightness in his hamstring ahead of the trip to the London Stadium.
Sarr, 26, has started the previous 13 Premier League games and picked up an assist in Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over Leicester.
Glasner said: “We’ve a little small question about Ismaïla Sarr. He’s suffering a little bit with tightness in his hamstring, but we will take the final decision tomorrow.
“But all of the others are fine.”
Jefferson Lerma will also be absent from the matchday squad on Saturday after coming off at the King Power after 20 minutes due to illness.
Glasner: “It could’ve been that he’d be back today, but then he didn’t feel really well, so then we decided it makes no sense.
“He felt a lack of power, and then we said: ‘Okay, we have to wait.’ We had to take him off after 20 minutes at Leicester and then he felt unwell, and this is what happened.”
