Crystal Palace attacker suffers hamstring injury blow – a major doubt for Fulham clash
Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah has picked up a hamstring injury, the South London Press understands.
The 25-year-old – signed from Arsenal in a deal worth up to £30million this summer – is now a major doubt for Palace’s final game before the November international break against Fulham.
Nketiah, born in Lewisham, has featured nine times this season and scored his first goal in the EFL Cup win over QPR earlier in the season.
Eberechi Eze, Jefferson Lerma, Chadi Riad, Adam Wharton, Franco Umeh and Matheus Franca are all unavailable for Saturday’s Premier League outing at Selhurst Park.
Eze, Lerma, Umeh and now Nketiah have all suffered hamstring injuries.
Ismaila Sarr, Jeffrey Schlupp and Jean-Philippe Mateta look set to be the only senior attacking options Glasner will have at his disposal for Saturday.
Winger Asher Agbinone, 19, made his debut in the 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest as a late substitute.
