Crystal Palace defender a potential injury doubt for Millwall FA Cup clash

Oliver Glasner said Marc Guehi felt pain in his knee towards the end of Crystal Palace’s 4-1 win over Aston Villa on Tuesday night.

The England defender went down early on at Selhurst Park but managed to complete the majority of the game as Ismaila Sarr, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eddie Nketiah all found the back of the net.

Guehi went down again towards the end of the match and looked to signal to the bench that he needed to be replaced.

Glasner’s side take on South London rivals Millwall in the FA Cup on Saturday.

“He felt a little bit of pain and fingers crossed it’s nothing serious,” said Glasner. “He felt pain in his knee. He can rest now for two days.”
