Crystal Palace defender joins Dagenham & Redbridge ahead of Millwall FA Cup clash

Crystal Palace defender Chris Francis has joined National League side Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old joined the Eagles at the start of the 2023-24 season following his release from Bournemouth and made 18 appearances for Darren Powell’s side.

Francis was on trial at Charlton Athletic before signing at Selhurst Park.

Dagenham & Redbridge are 15th in the National League after Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Forest Green.

Millwall host Francis and his new Dagenham & Redbridge side in the third round of the FA Cup on Monday evening.
