Crystal Palace forward set to head back out on January loan deal

Crystal Palace forward John-Kymani Gordon is set to head back out on loan this January after his spell with Cambridge United came to an end.

The forward returned to Selhurst Park after his six-month stint at The Abbey came to an end this month.

Gordon made 18 appearances in all competitions for the U’s, but Mark Bonner was sacked towards the end of November and was replaced by former Millwall boss Neil Harris.

The South London Press understands there are teams in the EFL and in the Scottish top flight who are keen on taking Gordon on loan for the second half of the season.

He signed a contract extension with Palace before heading out on loan to Carlisle in the second half of the 2022-23 season, featuring 17 times and scoring two goals as they secured promotion to League One via the play-offs.
