Crystal Palace in talks with Arsenal to sign midfielder on loan

Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan for the rest of the season.

The South London Press understands the Gunners will allow Lokonga to leave the Emirates after agreeing deal for Chelsea midfielder Jorghino.

The Italian is free to leave Stamford Bridge with the Blues chasing a deal to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.

Lokonga, 23, has made 15 appearances this season in all competitions under Mikel Arteta and has been kept out of the side in the Premier League since the 3-1 over Spurs in October.

Belgian international Lokonga has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal since signing from Anderlecht in a deal worth around the £17million mark.

The Eagles are also bolstering Patrick Vieira’s midfield options by signing Stuttgart midfielder Naouirou Ahamada, with the 20-year-old French U18 international having completed a medical yesterday.
