Crystal Palace linked to January move for Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in a deal for Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe.
The Ivory Coast international signed for the Gunners in the summer of 2019 from LOSC Lille for a fee of around £72million.
Since then Pepe has struggled to nail down a starting place for Arsenal, and has scored 25 goals in 98 appearances for the north London club.
French outlet Jeunes Footeux are reporting that the Eagles have competition from Everton and Newcastle United for the signature of the 26-year-old.
The publication adds that all three clubs would prefer to loan Pepe first, with an option to buy included in the deal.

  • Palace could really do with a defensive midfielder. So they’re going to spunk most of their budget on a flaky winger when they’ve already got Zaha, Eze, Ayew and Olise (amongst others)? Is Pepe’s agent on your writing staff?
