Crystal Palace midfielder makes permanent move to Scottish Premiership

Crystal Palace have sold Malachi Boateng to Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian on a permanent transfer.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed success in Scotland across the last two seasons, spending the 2022-23 season on loan with Queen’s Park in the Championship and the 2023-24 season with Premiership side Dundee FC.

Boateng joined Palace at the age of 11 and progressed through the academy, signing his first professional contract with the club in October 2019.

Hearts finished third last season in the Premiership and will be playing for a place in the Europa League group stages at the start of the upcoming campaign.
