Crystal Palace schedule mid-season friendly

Crystal Palace have confirmed they will play Norweigan side Bodo/Glimt in a mid-season friendly next Thursday.

The game will take place during a training camp in Marbella.

Oliver Glasner’s side have seen their game against Newcastle – which was originally scheduled for March 16 – postponed after the Magpies progressed through to the FA Cup quarter-finals.

This will be the first chance Glasner and his coaching staff will have a chance to work with the squad away from Copers Cope since taking over from Roy Hodgson on February 19.

Palace have a three-week break from competitive match action due to the international break starting after next weekend’s round fixtures.

Glasner admitted in his pre-Tottenham Hotspur press conference that he was hopeful of welcoming Michael Olise back to first-team training from his hamstring injury towards the end of March.

The Eagles play Nottingham Forest on March 30.
