Crystal Palace set to loan out striker for 2024-25 season

Crystal Palace are ready to loan out striker Ademola Ola-Adebomi again ahead of the 2024-25 season.

The 20-year-old experienced his first taste of senior football in the second half of the 2023-24 campaign, joining League One side Burton Albion.

Ola-Adebomi made 14 appearances at the Pirelli Stadium and scored his first senior EFL goal in the 3-1 defeat at home to Peterborough.

The Lewisham-born striker also picked up two assists under Martin Paterson as they secured League One safety on the final day of the season.

Ola-Adebomi was loaned out after an impressive campaign for Darren Powell’s U21 Crystal Palace side, scoring 13 goals and registering two assists as he picked up the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for November 2023.

A host of clubs from League One, including Shrewsbury, and sides from abroad – both RWD Molenbeek and SK Beveren – were keen on a deal for Ola-Adebomi in January before he penned a new extension with Palace and joined Burton due to game time.

He was nursing a hamstring complaint in the latter stages of the season but still returned to Selhurst Park to start the 1-0 Premier League International Cup final win over Jong PSV.
