Crystal Palace striker – on loan at Leicester City – rejects MLS move
Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard has turned down the chance to join Atlanta United, the South London Press understands.
The MLS side submitted a £15million offer for the 26-year-old last week, but Edouard, who is currently on loan with Premier League rivals Leicester City, has rejected the chance to move.
Ex-Celtic striker Edouard has featured for the Eagles at the start of the season before joining Leicester on a season-long loan.
He has played four times for the Foxes but new boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy has only picked Edouard in a Premier League matchday squad since replacing Steve Cooper.
FIFA rules would not allow Edouard to play for another side in Europe this season, as players can only feature for two clubs across a season.
The MLS is a single-entity league and has a different start date to competitions across Europe.
