Crystal Palace to investigate allegations of racist abuse towards Daichi Kamada after Fulham defeat

Crystal Palace are investigating allegations of racist abuse by supporters towards midfielder Daichi Kamada after he was sent off against Fulham on Saturday.

The summer signing – who scored the winning goal in the EFL Cup last 16 win over Aston Villa – was sent off on Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at home to Fulham.

Kamada was issued with a red card in the 76th minute for a high foul on defender Kenny Tete.

Glasner’s side were 1-0 down when the former Lazio midfielder committed the foul.

“The club has a zero tolerance policy towards any form of abuse,” Palace said.

“We will take the strongest possible action against anyone identified as the perpetrator.”

Kamada will miss Palace’s next three Premier League games against Aston Villa, Newcastle and Ipswich after the international break.
