Crystal Palace to travel to Stevenage next month as part of pre-season friendly programme

Stevenage will host a Crystal Palace XI in a pre-season friendly on August 14.

The friendly will take place at Broadhall Way on Friday, July 23 (7pm kick off).

The Eagles have never faced Stevenage in a competitive fixture.

The two sides did play each other in a pre-season friendly in 2018, which ended in a 2-1 Palace victory.

The Eagles will get their pre-season fixtures underway when they face Portsmouth in a behind closed doors fixture at St George’s Park, on Friday, July 16 (midday kick off).

The Eagles will then host South London rivals Charlton Athletic at Selhurst Park on July 27 (7pm kick off).
