Crystal Palace v Burnley: Eagles unchanged for vital Selhurst Park clash
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Crystal Palace have named an unchanged line-up for today’s home game against Burnley.
The Eagles were expected to stick with the starting 11 that secured a 0-0 draw at Manchester United last time out. Christian Benteke (knee) is not expected to return until the end of this month at the earliest.
And Palace once again go without a specialist striker as they look to end an eight-game winless run. Both the club’s two home goals this season have come from the penalty spot.
Burnley have won just one of their last 12 and are 13 points behind their total at the same stage of last season.
Crystal Palace: Hennessey, Wan-Bissaka, Sakho, Tomkins, Van Aanholt, Kouyate, McArthur, Meyer, Milivojevic, Townsend, Zaha. Subs: Guaita, Ward, Sorloth, Ayew, Schlupp, Kelly, Puncheon.
Burnley: Hart, Lawton, Taylor, Cork, Mee, Gudmundsson, Wood, Hendrick, Defour, Lennon, Long. Subs: Heaton, Tarkowski, Vokes, Barnes, Brady, Westwood, Bardsley.
