Defender – who was on trial at AFC Wimbledon over the summer – completes League Two move

Jean Belehouan – who was on trial with AFC Wimbledon over the summer – has signed a short-term contract with League Two rivals Tranmere Rovers.

The right-back played in pre-season friendlies against Brentford B and Portsmouth.

Belehouan, 23, featured for 50 minutes in the pre-season clash against League One side Pompey before being forced off with an injury.

It was his last outing for the Dons.

The released Sheffield United defender has now signed a short-term deal with Nigel Adikns’ Tranmere side.

Tranmere are 23rd in League Two and play AFC Wimbledon this Saturday at Plough Lane.
