Derby sign experienced former Leeds and Oxford striker ahead of Millwall clash

Derby County have completed the signing of experienced free-agent striker Kemar Roofe ahead of Saturday’s game against Millwall.

The 32-year-old has signed up at Pride Park until the end of the season. However, Roofe has not played since leaving Rangers last summer.

Roofe made 102 appearances for the Scottish side and scored 38 times.

He joins up with John Eustace at the Rams, who only took charge of his first game last Friday in a 4-0 defeat at QPR.

Roofe has also had spells with Leeds, Anderletch, Northampton and Oxford during his senior career.

Derby are 22nd in the Championship table and one point from safety.
