Dons boss confident that duo will both sign contract extensions
AFC Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson is confident that Zach Robinson and Paul Osew will sign new deals.
Both players are out of contract at the start of next month.
Striker Robinson, who used to play for Lambeth Tigers, came through the youth ranks with the Dons and broke on to the first-team scene at the end of last season after being recalled in March from a successful loan at Hampton & Richmond.
“We’ve offered a contract to him,” Jackson told the South London Press earlier this week. “He’s not signed it yet. As far as I know he is staying. We’ve offered him what we think is a fair deal.”
Wandsworth-born Osew, 21, has made 69 first-team appearances for Wimbledon.
“We’ve offered him a contract and hoping he’ll sign,” said Jackson. “We’re just looking to get that tied up as soon as possible, I’m sure he’ll sign. One I want to keep around, that I like and is going to be a big player for us. We’re hoping we get him tied down ASAP.
“We’re just waiting on those guys to sign the deals.”
