Dons complete double swoop

AFC Wimbledon announced the signings of James Tilley from Crawley and Ryan McLean from Hereford for undisclosed fees yesterday.

Winger McLean has penned a two-year deal at Plough Lane, which has the option to be extended for a further 12 months.

The 23-year-old bagged 13 goals in 81 National League North appearances for Hereford before leaving to join Johnnie Jackson’s side.

Creative Tilley has also joined the Dons on a two-year deal from League Two rivals Crawley.

He 89 appearances for Crawley and scored 11 goals after joining from Grimsby.

The 25-year-old has also had loan spells at Dorking Wanderers, Yeovil Town and Cork City during his career.

McLean and Tilley join Omar Bugiel, Josh Neufville and Jake Reeves through the doors at Plough Lane this summer.
