Dons head to Milton Keynes for FA Cup first round clash
AFC Wimbledon have been drawn away to rivals Milton Keynes in the first round of the FA Cup.
The draw was made on Monday evening, with the two sides set to battle in the competition for the second time ever.
Johnnie Jackson’s side confidently dispatched Milton Keynes in League Two earlier in the season, winning 3-0 at Plough Lane.
Milton Keynes have since changed managers, with Scott Lindsey arriving from Crawley after Mike Williamson departed for Carlisle.
Wimbledon lifted the prestigious trophy in 1988 – Lawrie Sanchez’s 37th-minute goal was the difference against Liverpool.
Ties are due to be played between November 1 and November 4.
