Dons will not be pursuing permanent deals for former Charlton and Palace players

Josh Parker and Brandon Pierrick will not be signing for AFC Wimbledon.

The duo had been on trial with the Dons in the early stages of pre-season, both featuring in the 1-0 loss to Eastbourne Borough in early July.

Parker, who predominately featured as a striker, joined Charlton Athletic in 2019 on a six-month deal. The Antigua & Bermuda international has recorded more than 250 appearances and scored 41 goals during his career.

Pierrick graduated through the Crystal Palace academy to make his first-team debut for the Eagles in a 1-1 draw away to Norwich City in January 2020.

Lambeth-born Pierrick left Palace in 2021 after failing to break into Roy Hodgson’s side consistently to join Danish Superliga outfit Vejle Boldklub.

The 20-year-old winger recently featured for Portsmouth in a pre-season friendly but suffered a knock in a 5-2 win against Leyton Orient.
