Double deal as QPR bring in Willock and Adomah
QPR have made two signings today – bringing in Chris Willock and Albert Adomah.
Winger Adomah, 32, has penned a two-year contract and arrives on a free transfer following his release by Forest.
He told the club’s website: ”This is unreal, unbelievable. Imagine being a supporter and playing for the club you love? Words can’t even describe it. It’s just amazing, just a pleasure to be here. This is just surreal.
“I was in White City last week and I was thinking about going to the club shop to buy a [QPR] top – but I thought I would wait and get one for free.”
Former Arsenal youngster Willock, 22, has cost an undisclosed fee from Benfica.
The forward is awaiting results of a Covid-19 test – because he has flown in from overseas – before he can train with the Championship side.
Willock says he took advice from former Rangers fans’ favourite Adel Taarabt, on Benfica’s books.
“He had good things to say about the club and reminded me QPR is a family club. He has helped me a lot in my short career.”
