Ed Chuck was in second after a tough series of laps and an epic final descent, but looked back to see London Heathside’s Seyfu Jamaal in full flow and gaining ground. Chuck (34:32) had just enough speed left to hold off Jamaal (34:33) to win a stunning silver by one second – Dulwich’s best-ever performance. Rob Armstrong’s superb 19th (36:47) would have gained all the plaudits on another day.
