Dulwich Runners’ men recorded strong times at 2024 London Marathon
Four Dulwich Runners men recorded times under two hours and 30 minutes at the 2024 London Marathon, writes Jonthan Whittaker.
There were personal bests for Ed Chuck (2:26:02), James Dazeley (2:27:26) and Joe Hallsworth (2:28:09) with Jack Ramm’s time of 2:26:14 just seconds outside his PB.
Chuck (74th) and Ramm (80th) both featured in the top-100 standings.
Another 16 men recorded times under three hours with PBs from Finn Nugent (2:34:57), Harry Lawson (2:43:26), Shane Donlon (2:46:57), James Burrows (2:48:12), Eugene Cross (2:49:45), Rob Hollands (2:51:16) and Murray Humphrey (2:51:32).
Sam Walker (3:00:34), Edward Martin (3:37:07) and Chris Nunn (3:50:56) also recorded PBs.
Eight Dulwich Runners women completed the race. Helen Shannon ran a consistently paced race as first club finisher in 3:09:29. There were also PBss for Michelle Lennon (3:17:50), Liberty Pattison (3:22:45), Laura Vincent (3:26:22), Maeve Lane (3:37:16) and Victoria Read (3:38:53).
