Dulwich Runners round-up: Mace and Elms in action at Lloyd Park
Elkie Mace and Clare Elms were up the front for much of the race. Mace felt that she started off too quick but was able to hold off some fast finishers to place ninth in 31:09. Elms, taking a break from her world record activities on the track, finished 40 seconds behind as first V55 in 13th. Ange Norris was fourth in the V50 standings and was the second V55 finisher (45th).
Becca Schulleri (54th) and Club Coach Anna Thomas (56th) then finished in a group of five runners 30 further seconds back in 35:27 to complete the A team scoring.
The B team had fine performances from Belinda Cottrill (63rd), Ola Balme (68th), Michelle Lennon (70th), Lucy Pickering (73rd) and Yvette Dore (74th).
Dulwich A finished 11th in the final standings, meaning that they will be in Division 1 again next season. The B team finished fourth.
