Dulwich Runners round-up: Surrey Cross County League action

Clare Elms was 18th (34:53) in race three of the Surrey Cross Country League, writes Jonathan Whittaker.

Sara Roloff is enjoying an excellent debut season for the club and was next in 77th (38:17). Katie Styles (89th), Anna Thomas (107th) and Jane Bradshaw completed the scoring as the A team finished 17th. The B team featured solid runs from club captains Ange Norris (117th) and Ola Balme (131st), who finished ahead of Eleanor Simmons (135th), Michelle Lennon (137th) and Lucy Pickering (149th).

The men’s team were joint hosts of the Division One race at Beckenham Palace Park.

Jack Ramm enjoyed probably his best ever run in a Dulwich vest, finishing in 17th (27:41) despite a recent bout of illness.

Ed Chuck finished 57th (29:07) despite not feeling at his best.

Andy Bond has another excellent run in 68th (29:31) cementing his second position in the overall M40 championships.

Tim Bowen and Tom South kept each other in good company for the entire race with Bowen (105th) just pipping South (108th) at the finish.

Kev Chadwick had one of his best runs since returning to the club (121th).

Wayne Lashley (129th) headed home the remainder of the ninth-placed A team in close succession, finishing ahead of Martin Belzunce (131st) James Burrows (133rd) and Daniel Mann (135th).
