Early Millwall injury news ahead of Middlesbrough match

Tyler Burey is a doubt for Millwall’s Championship fixture at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The Lions resume league action after their 2-0 FA Cup third round defeat to Sheffield United last weekend.

Burey came on against the Blades in the 60th minute, replacing George Honeyman.

“Tyler has picked up an injury that we’re trying to work out the severity,” Millwall manager Gary Rowett told the South London Press. “We think he may be a doubt, he took a bang to his hip in the last game, so we’re assessing that.

“Scottie Malone has got a cut on his foot which is causing him some issues.”

Callum Styles missed the United clash with an ankle injury.

“He has a chance,” said Rowett. “I’m hoping he might be able to train later in the week.

“Stylesy, Scottie and Tyler are probably the ones we’re going to have to check on later in the week.”
