Everton look set to be without key attacker for Crystal Palace clash
Everton look set to be without key attacker Iliman Ndiaye for their Premier League clash at Crystal Palace on Saturday after he limped off in their 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
The ex-Sheffild United youngster, who had attracted interest from the Eagles in the past, joined Everton in the summer and has netted six times in the league this season.
Ndiaye was forced off after 25 minutes in the very last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park and was in tears as he was replaced by Jack Harrison.
The 24-year-old appeared to hurt his knee during the game.
‘We think he has possibly kicked the ground and may have jarred his knee or opened it up, we are not sure yet,’ said the Toffees boss David Moyes.
‘We don’t know how serious it is but we will look tomorrow.’
They will also be without midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure after he was sent off after the final whistle due to trying to provoke the Liverpool fans following Everton’s late eqauliser.
