Ex-Crystal Palace left-back joins Wilf Zaha’s AFC Croydon Athletic

Former Crystal Palace left-back Reece Hannam has joined Wilfried Zaha’s AFC Croydon Athletic.

Hannam left League One side Stevange, who he joined at the start of the season, in the January transfer window as a free agent and has dropped down Combined Counties League Premier Division South.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful start to the 2022-23 season on loan at Bromley, making 17 appearances and scoring two goals under Andy Woodman.

Hannam featured seven times on the bench in the Premier League for the Eagles under both Roy Hodgson and Patrick Vieira.

The Rams recently announced that former Palace striker Andy Johnson had joined the club as director of football.
