Exclusive: Dons set to sign James Tilley from Crawley
AFC Wimbledon are set to sign James Tilley from Crawley on a permanent deal.
The versatile winger, who can play on either flank, featured 35 times last season for the Red Devils in League Two.
Tilley came through Brighton’s academy to make three appearances for their first team before signing permanently for Grimsby Town in January 2020.
The 25-year-old has also had loan spells at Dorking Wanderers, Yeovil Town and Cork City during his career.
Tilley has bagged 11 goals and two assists in all competitions during his time at The Broadfield Stadium.
Johnnie Jackson’s side have already bolstered their options ahead of the new campaign, bringing in Omar Bugiel from Sutton, Josh Neufville from Luton and resigning Jake Reeves from Stevenage.
