Exclusive: League One and Two clubs keeping tabs on Crystal Palace academy forward

A host of clubs across League One and League Two have expressed an interest in taking Crystal Palace academy forward Ademola Ola-Adebomi on loan next season, the South London Press understands.

The 19-year-old has recorded six goal contributions in his last six games, taking his tally to 10 goals and two assists this season for Palace’s U21 side in all competitions.

Ola-Adebomi, who scored 19 goals for Palace’s U18 side during the 2021/22 campaign, signed his first professional contract with the club in April 2022.

The 6ft 4 powerful forward has been with the Eagles since he was eight and was a part of the U15 squad that won the national Super Floodlit Cup final for the first time in the club’s history.

He joined Patrick Vieira’s first team for the pre-season tour of Singapore and Australia, playing 25 minutes against Manchester United and being named on the bench for the games against Liverpool and Leeds United.

Fellow academy players Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Killian Phillips have both flourished on loan in league football this season.

Darren Powell’s U21 side are third in the Premier League 2 table and have progressed through to the semi-finals of the Premier League International Cup, being drawn at home to Spanish side Valencia.
