FA Cup dream is over for Cray Wanderers after 1-0 loss to Tonbridge Angels

Cray Wanderers’ hopes of reaching the FA Cup first round proper were ended on Saturday as they lost 1-0 at home to Tonbridge Angels.

The Isthmian League Premier Division outfit were hoping to spring an upset against National League South opposition.

But Jamie Fielding scored the only goal of the tie in the second half in front of a crowd of 1,222 at Flamingo Park.

Anthony Cook and Tom Bonner both went close late on to finding an equaliser for the Wands.
