Fight on! Richard Riakporhe and Chris Billam-Smith weigh in ahead of Selhurst Park bout

Chris Billam-Smith and Walworth’s Richard Riakporhe both made weight today ahead of their WBO world cruiserweight title clash at Crystal Palace’s on Saturday.

The show is live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Bournemouth’s Billam-Smith will be looking to avenge his only career defeat when he makes the second defence of his title against the big punching South Londoner, while Riakporhe gets the opportunity to realise his dream of winning world honours in front of his fellow Crystal Palace fans.

With both fighters coming in on the championship limit, Billam-Smith and Riakporhe had to be prised apart by security after refusing to break an intense staredown ahead of tomorrow’s showdown.

An equally fiery undercard weigh-in saw clashes between Ben Whittaker and Ezra Arenyeka, who meet for the IBF International light-heavyweight crown, and British cruiserweight rivals Isaac Chamberlain, from Brixton, and Jack Massey, who fight for the European and Commonwealth titles.
