Former Chelsea boss set for Bayern Munich job

Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly set to replace Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich.

Ex-Leipzig boss Nagelsmann was sacked on Thursday night by Bayern after a 2-1 defeat to Bayern Leverkusen on Sunday.

Tuchel, 49, has been out of work since being axed by the west Londoners in September, which saw Graham Potter take charge of the Blues.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, Tuchel led Chelsea to their second Champions League trophy after they beat Manchester City in the final 1-0 in 2021.

Bayern are second in the Bundesliga – a point behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund – but are through the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Tuchel had been linked to the Tottenham job, with Antonio Conte heading towards the exit door.
