Former Crystal Palace and Chelsea striker announces retirement
Former Crystal Palace and Chelsea striker Loic Remy has announced his retirement from professional football.
The 36-year-old has been without a club since leaving French top flight side Brest FC at the end of last season.
Remy only signed a short-term deal in February at the Stade Francis Le Ble, having been a free agent following his departure from Turkish Super Lif side Caykur Rizespor.

The former French international turned out 47 times during his stint at Chelsea, winning the Premier League at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho.
Remy joined Palace on loan at the start of the 2016-17 season but only made eight appearances for the Eagles due to injuries.
He has also had spells at QPR, Newcastle, Las Palmas, Lille and Marseille during his career.
