Former Crystal Palace coach joins Johnnie Jackson’s AFC Wimbledon staff

Former Crystal Palace coach Dave Reddington has joined Johnnie Jackson’s coaching staff after the departure of Rob Tuvey.

Reddington joined Palace in 2004 and held various roles within the club’s academy over two separate spells before being promoted to join Roy Hodgson’s first-team coaching staff in 2018.

He has spent the last three seasons as assistant boss of Aarhus Gymnastikforening (AGF) in the Danish Superlig, who reached the Danish Cup final and finished fifth in the league last season.

Reddington told AFC Wimbledon: “I am delighted to join Johnnie’s staff at AFC Wimbledon, and having met my fellow coaches and the players – I am excited about the prospect of helping the club continue its progression.”

The Dons are competing in their third straight season in League Two as they finished 10th in the fourth tier last year.

Reddington will join Jackson’s long-term assistant Terry Skiverton and Wimbledon goalkeeper coach Ashley Bayes.
