Former Dons midfielder joins Milton Keynes on loan
Former AFC Wimbledon midfielder Paris Maghoma has joined Milton Keynes on loan for the rest of the season.
Brentford recalled Maghoma halfway through his season-long loan spell with the Dons in January.
The 21-year-old former Spurs youngster joined Wimbledon in the summer and made 24 times in all competitions under Johnnie Jackson.
Brentford recalled Maghoma under the guise that he would be completing rehab from an injury he picked up ahead of the game against Stevenage in the middle of December.
Milton Keynes are 19th in League One.
Speaking to our paper after Maghoma was recalled by Brentford, Jackson said: “It came as a shock. All the conversations we had been having were really positive.
“They were happy with him here, happy with us, happy with the job we were doing, and happy with his development. He was injured, so it came out blue. It was disappointing.
“When you are having those conversations and that dialogue, you tend not to put too many contingency plans in place because we were not expecting to lose him.”
