Former Millwall coach joins Championship rivals
Former Millwall coach Paul Robinson has joined Championship rivals Watford as Tom Cleverley’s assistant coach.
The former West Brom and Birmingham City defender joined Gary Rowett’s backroom team with the Lions in July 2021.
He left his role as Millwall first-team coach by mutual consent in November 2023 after Rowett departed The Den and Joe Edwards was appointed as the new head coach at the time.
The 45-year-old joined Rowett at Birmingham City on a short-term deal at the end of last season as they tried to keep them in the Championship.
Robinson made 228 appearances for the Hornets during his playing career.
Watford are sixth in the Championship.
