Former Palace boss Patrick Vieira linked with Championship job

Ex-Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira has been linked with the vacant managerial role at Leeds United.

Sky Sports are reporting that the former Arsenal and Inter Milan midfielder is ‘under consideration’ to become the new head coach at Elland Road.

Vieira was sacked by the Eagles in March after failing to win a Premier League game at the start of 2023. Palace also became the first team on record to fail to register a shot on target in three games running in the top flight.

The former New York City boss was replaced by Roy Hodgson, who won five of his 10 games in temporary charge to guide the South Londoners to Premier League safety.

Leeds were relegated from the top flight last season on the final day of the campaign.

Daniel Farke and Carlos Corberan have also been linked with the job.
