Four clubs linked with moves for former AFC Wimbledon free agent Joe Pigott

Joe Pigott is reportedly a target for Portsmouth, Sunderland, Bristol City and Luton Town.

Pigott is a free agent after he turned down a new contract at AFC Wimbledon.

The former Charlton striker, 27, scored 54 goals in 167 appearances for the Dons in a three-year spell at the club.

The Portsmouth News are reporting that Pompey were keen on making a move for Pigott, but are bracing themselves to miss out on the 27-year-old.

They add that Pigott has held talks with Bristol City and Luton Town and also claim that Sunderland would be prepared to offer “big wages” in order to sign the striker.
