Fulham v Charlton Athletic team news: Lee Bowyer makes five changes
BY LOUIS MENDEZ
Lee Bowyer makes five changes as he takes his Charlton side to face high-flying Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Jake Forster-Caskey earns his first league start since the opening-day win at Blackburn Rovers in midfield, with Jonny Williams and Darren Pratley also returning. Naby Sarr and Chris Solly come in to the Addicks defence.
Forster-Caskey came off the bench during Wednesday’s defeat against Swansea and will be part of what could be a five-man midfield – with Pratley also operating in there. Erhun Oztumer and Sam Field both drop to the bench.
Jonny Williams will replace Jonathan Leko in an advanced role – with Solly and Sarr into the defence as Adam Matthews drops to the bench and Ben Purrington misses out through injury.
Charlton: Phillips, Lockyer, Pearce, Sarr, Pratley, Solly, Forster-Caskey, Cullen, Gallagher, Williams, Bonne. Subs: Amos, Matthews, Oshilaja, Leko, Field, Oztumer, Lapslie.
