Taylor told Welling TV: “First half performance was very good. We got 2-0 up against very very good side so I was pleased with that. I knew they would be massive test in the second half but unfortunately we didn’t do so well defensively. We lost momentum when they got their first goal.

“Our first goal was well worked with a very good delivery from a corner and a good header. The second one was a good attacking move where Dipo did well again.

“But any team that is 2-0 down at halftime, there will be a reaction. I said if they are get anything, make sure they have to earn it. But their strikes weren’t great Goals. It was quite frustrating.

“But there was a lot more pluses than on Saturday and we have to learn from the mistakes.

“We’re at the wrong end of the table because of the way we played in the first 45 minutes against Hemel. But we recovered in that game to draw 1-1 and Danny Carr converted the penalty well.”
