Hull boss confident of response at Millwall
Hull City boss Liam Rosenior is confident there will be a response from his side at Millwall this weekend after they suffered a 3-0 defeat at Ipswich in midweek.
The Tigers have only won one of their last five league outings – a 3-1 win at Stoke City – and head to The Den this weekend.
Millwall got back to winning ways during midweek after picking up an impressive 2-0 away victory at Plymouth Argyle thanks to goals from Zian Flemming and George Saville.
The Lions only picked up a point – a goalless draw at home – from their two outings last season against Hull.
Rosenior told Hull’s YouTube channel after the defeat: “If I look at it as a nine-game spell, that [the Ipswich defeat] was the first one where we come away empty-handed, and deservedly so.
“We have another game that we needed to prepare for in Millwall.
“I know with this group, they are going to respond really, really well in the next game.
“We’re going through it, but this is a true test.
“We have 16 points from 10 games. A win on Saturday, which we’re more than capable of doing, and it’s been a very good start.”
