‘I can’t fit it into one tweet’ – Millwall defender’s reaction to his season being ended following surgery

Junior Tiensia has confirmed that he is set to miss the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign after having an operation on his hamstring.

The 21-year-old Millwall defender had spent the first half of the season on loan at Dover Athletic where he made 13 appearances before moving to Dartford on a month-long deal. He had played just two games before picking up the injury.

The South London club’s academy product is out of contract at The Den in the summer.

Tiensia wrote on Twitter: “Loads to say on this matter but I can’t fit it into one tweet.

“Today I had my operation on my hamstring which has put me out for the remainder of the season.

“Would like to take this opportunity to thank Dartford FC for the welcome and also thank the staff and the players through this tough period.

“Also the constant support I’m getting from Millwall FC is very much appreciated. I ask you have me all in your prayers as I take my first steps to recovery.”
