‘I envisage it’ – Huddersfield boss previews crucial Championship clash against Millwall
Huddersfield boss Darren Moore says his side understands what it takes to pick up a result from tomorrow’s Championship clash at Millwall.
They are 21st in the Championship table and suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Preston on Tuesday evening.
Joe Edwards is still searching for his first win at The Den since arriving as the permanent head coach.
Millwall find themselves 20th and without a win in five Championship outings.
“Let’s focus on the Millwall game,” said Moore.
“When you start looking at the next fixture, you become unstuck. I have never been a manager who looks beyond the here and now.
“The Millwall game is another tough game – it’s a game away from home.
“It’s a game at a difficult arena. We know that when we step into the arena, we have to perform.
“They’re a good team – difficult opponents on their own patch.
“We as a group know about the work rate, desire and temperament that is required to go to these places to get a result.
“The players and the staff know what’s needed. I envisage it being no different when we go to Millwall.
“The only one we’re assessing [before Millwall] is Ben Jackson – he’s 50-50 as well. We’re having a look at him and we will see how he goes.”
