Jadon Sancho in Gareth Southgate’s 33-man squad for Euro 2020

South Londoner Jadon Sancho has been named in a provisional 33-man England squad today. Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate will pick his final 26-player squad on June 1 for Euro 2020.

Kennington-raised Sancho, 21, has made 18 appearances for his country.

Former Charlton goalkeeper Nick Pope has missed out as the Burnley stopper is due to have minor knee surgery.

Sancho is once again being linked with a mega-money switch to Manchester United this summer. He has been capped by England at U17 and U19 level.

German newspaper Bild claim that Borussia Dortmund have told Camberwell-born Sancho that he can leave.

United have been repeatedly linked with the young attacker, whose career skyrocketed after he quit Manchester City for the Bundesliga giants in 2017.

Sancho has scored 50 goals in 137 appearances for Dortmund.
