Jamal Lowe tells Portsmouth he wants to leave this summer

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Jamal Lowe has reportedly told Portsmouth that he wants to leave.

Millwall had bid for the attacker but the League One club, beaten in the play-offs in May, have knocked back the interest.

But Sky Sports reported yesterday that Lowe, 24, had notified Pompey of his desire to move on this summer.

We reported recently that the Lions had moved on to other transfer targets and had bid for a Premier League player.

Lowe scored 17 goals for Portsmouth last season. His current deal runs out next June, although there has been talk that the South Coast outfit also have an option to extend it.
