Jed Wallace tweets message to Millwall fans after clinching West Brom transfer

Jed Wallace has thanked Millwall’s fans for their “passionate” support after completing his move to West Bromwich Albion on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old was confirmed as a Baggies player earlier today after rejecting the chance to extend his stay in SE16.

Wallace made 260 appearances and scored 44 goals for the South London club. He is a free agent from July 1.

Wallace tweeted: “As everyone knows, I have taken the decision to make the next step in my career.

“I’ve made memories and friends that will last a lifetime and I want to pass my special appreciation on to Mr John Berylson, Neil Harris and Gary Rowett for the constant belief in me over the past six years.

“Most importantly, thank you to the fans for the passionate support. I’ve been proud to give 100 per cent every time I’ve pulled on the shirt.”
