Joao Felix makes Chelsea’s Champions League squad – but former Arsenal forward misses out

Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out of Graham Potter’s 25-man Champions League squad.

The Gabon striker, 33, joined in the summer from Barcelona and has made 16 appearances at Stamford Bridge.

Argentinien midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who arrived from Benfica on deadline day for a British transfer record of £106million, was included.

January signing Benoit Badiashile has also been left out, along with David Datro Fofana, Noni Madueke, Andrey Santos and Gabriel Slonina.

Despite picking up a red card on his Premier League debut for the club, Joao Felix, who was brought in just on a six-month loan from Atletico Madrid, has been included.

While £88million winger Mykhaylo Mudryk has also been added. Hakim Ziyech has been included despite nearly joining PSG on deadline day.

The Blues take on Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16, with the first leg of the tie taking place in Germany.
