Johnnie Jackson addresses Ryan Inniss’ latest injury concern with Charlton defender set for spell out

BY LOUIS MENDEZ

Ryan Inniss is set for another spell on the sidelines but boss Johnnie Jackson is unable to put any timeframe on his absence.

The big defender has already missed a large chunk of this season with a thigh problem and has now suffered another problem with the same area.

He was missing for the midweek game with Milton Keynes and did not make the trip to Sheffield Wednesday today.

Jackson said: “I don’t know time periods but he’s had another issue with his thigh. We have to wait and see. He wasn’t available today. I don’t know the timeframe on it, hopefully not too long.

“But he’s a player who has got a history of picking up these kinds of thing. The more you get, sometimes the more careful you have to be with your return to play.”
