Karl Robinson: Charlton’s Jason Pearce is in contention for squad place for Tuesday’s game with Bradford City

Jason Pearce could be involved in Charlton’s game with Bradford City on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old defender has struggled with a knee injury that saw him side-lined from September, and then recurred when he tried to make comeback in mid-December.

Karl Robinson revealed that the centre-back could be back on the bench for Tuesday’s visit of the fellow play-off chasing Bantams.

“He’s trained today, he trained Thursday and Friday,” explained Robinson.

“He’ll recover tomorrow. He’ll train with us on Monday and there’s a possibility he could be on the bench on Tuesday.”
